June 12, 1940 — October 18, 2021

Woodrow “Woody” L. Wilson, 81, of Albright Shores, Mi. drifted away peacefully to be with our Lord on Monday, October 18, 2021. The world was blessed with this shining star on June 12, 1940 to Wendell and Florence Wilson of Saginaw, Mi. Woody proudly served our country in the United States Army. After working 30 years, he retired from Saginaw Steering Gear as a Machine Repairman. He was proud to say that he was the Worshipful Master at the Masonic Temple in Birch Run and a Past Worthy President of Albright Shores Eagles #3655. He loved hunting, fishing, motorcycling, quad-riding, boating, snowmobiling, pretty much anything outdoors. But most of all he loved his family and his extended family. Many of which considered him “their hero”. He loved music, singing, playing his guitar and making people laugh. He was the life of the party and lived life to the fullest. He is survived by his sons: Woodrow Wilson II and Earl Duke (Trish) Wilson and his adopted son Greg Csercse; his grandchildren Jennifer, Thomas (RoSan), Travis (Brooxie), Woodrow III, Erica (Randy) Traxler, Earl II (Julie), Kelcy (John) Karwat, Jake (Rachael), Jessica, Jimmy, Megan (Dale) and Matthew. He had many great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. He is also survived by his brother Marlin (Sandy) Wilson, his brother-in-law Jim Lagrow; sister-in-law Maxine Wilson; along with many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his son: Norman; sister Wendy, and brothers Bill and Wendell (Butch). Visitation will be held Friday, October 22, 2021 from 4 – 8:00 P.M. at Hall Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton, Mi. and Funeral Services honoring Woody will be conducted on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 11:00 am at Billings Bible Church in Albright Shores, Mi. Viewing will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Military Honors will be conducted by Gladwin American Legion Post 171.
