Vivian I. O’Bryne, 88, of Beaverton, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021. She was born on May 8, 1933, the daughter of Euell and Laura Collins in Manilla, Arkansas. They migrated to Madison Heights, MI, after the Great Depression.
In Michigan, Vivian married Joseph Barber, and together they raised their 2 daughters. Mid-life, Vivian relocated to Las Vegas, NV. On April 22, 1988, Vivian married her current husband of 33 years, Don O’Bryne, in Elko, NV. She was employed as a food server until her retirement. In 2010, Don & Vivian, moved to Beaverton. She was a talented high school baseball player (catcher), loved bowling, dancing, and watching nature. Vivian was a people person who loved her friends and family.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Don O’Bryne of Beaverton; children: Lee Spriggs-Morrow and Jovita Olsen; stepchildren: Joe O’Bryne and Tina O’Bryne; grandchildren: Sebrina, Ron, Kris, and Larry; step grandchild: Dylan; great grandchildren: Stephen, Nathan, Tyler, and Emily.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother: Bud Collins, 1 st husband: Joe Barber and son-in-law: Harvey Olsen.
