Troy Morgan

With heavy hearts for a life well-lived, we announce the unexpected passing of Troy William Morgan. Troy was born September 23, 1971, in Gladwin, to Cal and Linda Morgan. Troy left this world on May 11, 2026.

Troy was a one of a kind man, the kind of man that would do anything for anyone. Troy loved his family more than anything and valued the time he got to spend with them. He will leave behind a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

He proudly served six years in the United States Marine Corps, and being a Marine remained a part of who he was for the rest of his life. “Semper fi” was something he carried with pride long after his years in the service.

Troy worked for Valley Electrical Contactors, where he built not only a career but also a second family. He truly loved the people he worked alongside and valued those friendships deeply.

Outside of work Troy loved hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. But more than anything he loved his family. His daughter was the light of his life and his greatest pride. The love he gave so freely and wholeheartedly will never be forgotten.

Troy is survived by his loving mother, Linda Morgan; soulmate: Jackie Morgan; daughter: Emily Morgan; son: Bryce (Ashley) Paulsen; grandson: Mason; siblings: Cal (Kelly) Morgan, Scott (Carrie) Morgan, Lori (Bryan) Morgan; wonderful nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Cal Morgan

Troy will be remembered for his kindness, loyalty, strength and the way he always showed up no matter what. The world is a little less bright without him in it, but the love and memories he leaves behind will live on forever

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Gladwin. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
