Terry Jean Govitz

On Thursday, June 30, 2022, Terry Jean Govitz, lost her life. She was 70 years old. Terry devoted her life to her children and family. While Terry’s family grieves her loss, they are choosing to remember her in a way that honors her spirit. She didn’t like being center of attention and the family will honor her wishes by not holding any formal ceremony. Terry enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed going horseback riding with her daughter, Amy, and getting the family together for holidays and special occasions. Terry is survived by her two children Amy J. Cogswell and Duane K. Govitz. She is also survived by her partner in life, Duane R. Govitz, sister Cindy Mavis-James and brother Larry Mavis. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin.
