Terrence "Terry" Leo Plude

Terry Plude, 68 of Gladwin, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

He was born on October 3, 1957 to Edward and Lucille Plude of Gladwin. He lived his entire life in Gladwin County.

He started working at Perry's IGA in Beaverton, Michigan after graduating high school. He continued to work for the grocery store when it became Fruchey's Market and worked at their Beaverton and Edenville Stores. He worked up to a management position and retired from Fruchey's Edenville location in 2016.

Terry enjoyed his yearly trips to Florida and his birthday trips to the Upper Peninsula. He also enjoyed his daily walks and feeding the wild birds and stray cats.

He is survived by his wife Marie, his daughter Andrea Binge and son-in-law Donald Binge, his sons Alan Plude and Brandon Plude, his sisters: Patricia Munger, Denise Edgar, Karen Ritchie, Lori Stout, Marilea Plude and Rita Plude, brother James Plude and many more extended family members. He also leaves behind several grandcats.

He is preceded in death by his parents, infant sister Carol Plude, brother Robert Plude and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Honoring his wish, the gift of life was shared with many people in need. Cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of his life on his birthday this year for immediate family.

Arrangements were handled by Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Terry to the Gladwin County Animal Shelter.
