Steven Vulders

Steven Cecil Vulders, age 77, of Beaverton, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026. He was born on May 17, 1948, the son of Cecil and Zelphia (Robertson) Vulders, in Flint. He married the love of his life, Kathleen Irish. Together they shared 53 years filled with love and cherished memories.

Steven was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp and a Vietnam Veteran. Following his service, he worked as an HVAC Technician for over 50 years until his retirement. He was a Pastor that loved spreading the word of God. Steven was an outdoorsman, often spending his time fishing. He loved working with his hands, cooking, and woodworking.

He is survived by his beloved wife: Kathleen; children: Lisa (Jeff), Gwen Vulders, Steve (Missy) Vulders; grandchildren: Erin Fink, Julia Fink, Haley (Denver) Lawrence, Caitlin Vulders, and Hunter Vulders; one great-grandchild on the way; and sister: Gwendolyn Bogema.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Ron, Leila, and Marsha.

Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 6:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin.
