Stephen Marks

Stephen P. Marks Sr., age 79, of Beaverton, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026. He was born on April 15, 1947, the son of William and Leona (Fern) Marks, in Altoona, PA. Stephen was a proud veteran of the United States Army and National Guard, serving a total of 8 years in Germany. Following his service, he was employed by General Motors as a HiLo Driver for 30 years until his retirement. On June 25, 1983, he married the love of his life, Ann Jackson. Together, they shared 43 years filled with love and cherished memories.

Stephen enjoyed the outdoors, loved doing yard work. He was a big kid at heart and a goofball who always loved making people laugh, and teaching the grandkids and great grandkids to do goofy things. He was even a registered clown for 30 years with the name Weezie, was known for his pure white beard and hair and played Santa for a few years in the community. Stephen was close with the Amish Community in Beaverton. He had a huge heart and was always willing to help others that needed it. Most of all, he cherished the moments spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife: Ann Marks; children: Tiffany (Daniel) Scott, Stephen (Thomas) Campbell, and Christopher Marks; grandchildren: Kalove Scott, Brittany Alderman, Lakin Scott, Lakota Scott, Hannah, and Kara; great-grandchildren: Dawson Diffin and Bryson Alderman; and brother: David (Elizabeth) Marks.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Norma and William “Bill”.
