Sharon Cay, age 66, of Coleman, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025. She was born on August 18, 1958, the daughter of James and Alice (James) Bluntschly, in Bay City. On June 12, 2015, Sharon married James Cay, and together they shared many years filled with love and cherished memories. Sharon loved canning, gardening, and playing the piano. She was an active member of the Beaverton Baptist Church, working as the church secretary for many years. Throughout her life, Sharon visited as many Michigan Lighthouses as she could. Most of all, Sharon cherished time spent with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband: James; daughter: Dawn (Brandon) Beach; granddaughter: Lillian; mother: Alice Bluntschly; sisters: Billie Ritter and Edie Wiltse; brothers: Paul (Nora) Bluntschly and James Bluntschly; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 12:00 noon at the Beaverton Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Sharon will be laid to rest at Beaverton City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Beaverton Baptist Church.
