Russell Hayes

Russell Hayes, age 61, of Gladwin, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. He was born on February 23, 1964. Russell was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. Following his service, he was employed as a Sheet Metal Worker until his retirement.

Russell was a sports enthusiast. He loved golf, football, racing, and hockey. He was an active member of the Secord Lake Eagles Club 4121, which his father, Bruce Hayes, was a founding member of. He had a deep love for his dog, Pepper.

He is survived by his sons: Joe (Brittany) Hayes, Daniel (Rebecca) Hayes, and Curtis Hayes; grandchildren: Evan, Corey, Oliver Gray, and Noah Thomas; significant other: Jen McCormick; along with several other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Mary Hayes.

Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at The Secord Lake Eagles Club 4121 in Gladwin. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
