Ronald Lynn Ross, 61, of Gladwin, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, September 30, 2023 while at home surrounded by his loved ones. Ron was born on September 18, 1962, the son of David and Irene (Hayward) Ross in Clare. He married the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Kelly Robinette, on April 16 of 1983 at St. Anne Catholic Church. Ron was a veteran of the United States Navy, proudly serving his country from 1981-1985. He spent his career working as a machinist. Ron was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Gladwin and served regularly as an usher. His hobbies included reading, gardening, hunting and anything that would get him outside and into the woods. He was a truly skilled craftsman, and loved to work with his mind as much as his hands. He had a strong faith in Jesus Christ our Lord. He was a loving husband, a kind and thoughtful father, and a man worth looking up to. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 40 years, Kelly Ross; His children, Christopher Ross, Nathan Ross, and Kory Ross; His sisters, Diane Ross and Carol Carbeno; His mother and father in law Dick and Roxie; His brothers and sisters in laws Jon and Betty, Ken and Sheila, Josh and Melissa, Russ and Amy; along with several wonderful nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Irene and and his brother, David Jr.
