Robert Tacey

Robert Tacey, age 89, of Beaverton, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. He was born on February 25, 1936, the son of Leroy and Lucille (Sheley) Tacey. On June 6, 1980, he married Joan Brown and together they shared many years filled with love and cherished memories until she preceded him in death in 2012. Robert was a dedicated employee of General Motors in Bay City for many years until his retirement. Robert enjoyed the outdoors, often spending his time fishing, camping, and woodworking.

He is survived by his children: Amy (Bob) Hawkins, Lori (Lee) Offenbecker, and Todd Tacey; step-children: Michael (Carol) Brown, Steven (Claudine Trontin) Brown, Marcy (Tom) Grant, Kim (Clay Horton) Brown, and Deb Brown; 8 grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way; nephew: Bob “Charlie” Wright and special friend: Madonna Sherlock.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and sister: Patricia Wright.
