Robert McCutcheon

Robert “Bob” McCutcheon, 77, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and family. He was born on December 27, 1947, to Preston and Laura McCutcheon.

On August 2, 1980, Bob married the love of his life, Judy (Galligan) McCutcheon, and together they built a life filled with joy, laughter, and unwavering commitment. Judy preceded him in death on October 27, 2023, and not a day went by without Bob carrying her memory in his heart.

A proud veteran, Bob honorably served his country in the United States Army. Following his service, he embarked on a career in real estate before finding his place at Dow Chemical, where he worked until retiring at the age of 55. Retirement allowed Bob and Judy to enjoy many happy years together in Florida, soaking up the sunshine and making wonderful memories.

Bob’s greatest source of pride was his family. He is survived by his four beloved children: daughters Kim (Pat) Savage and Karen (Mike) Moore, both of Beaverton; sons Jeff (Jen) McCutcheon of Midland, and Eric (Heather) McCutcheon of Colorado as well as his four grandchildren, Angela, Melissa, Edison and Echo and four great grandchildren, Lily, Caroline, Logan and Connor. His love for his children and their families was boundless, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

After Judy’s passing, Bob returned to Michigan to be closer to his family. Though deeply missed, he will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and the deep love he carried for his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A celebration of life gathering will take place on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Beaverton. Visitation will be held on Sunday, from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gladwin County Veterans Memorial Fund.
