Raymond D. Shinabarger

Raymond Denis Shinabarger, 65, of Beaverton, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2017. He was born on December 8, 1951, the son of Delbert & Lula (Berry) Shinabarger in New Orleans, Louisiana. He had lived in Gladwin County for the last year, previously residing in Flint, Michigan and he was a huge sports fan. His memory will live on in the hearts of his loving wife: Malissa Shinabarger of Beaverton; son: Delbert Shinabarger and another son: Matthew soon to be born. He will be dearly missed by his 3 sisters: Mary (John) Richards; Brenda (John) Howe of Dowling; Bernice (Phil) Kehoe of Portage and several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Lynn Chappel on Friday, November 3, 2017, 11:00 A.M., with visitation beginning at 9:30 A.M at Beaverton United Methodist Church, Beaverton, Michigan. He will be laid to rest at Beaverton City Cemetery, Beaverton, Michigan. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan.
