Raymond Headley Jr.

Raymond J. Headley Jr., age 58, of Mancelona, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024. He was born on December 14, 1965, the son of Raymond Sr. and Helen (Scriver) Headley.

Raymond attended culinary school and worked for various restaurants over his career. In 2000, he experienced a major accident that left him unable to work. Despite the challenges, he continued to make the most of his abilities and loved hosting family and friends for dinners.

He is survived by his life partner, Bonnie Shaw; stepchildren: Jody (Jim) Buning and Margaret Shaw; step-grandchildren: Kassidee "Fruity Pepples," Graidee, Zayden, and Zayla; step-great-grandchild: Halston Grace "Fruit Loops"; brother: Eugene "Rusty" Headley, aunt: Barb Headley; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has taken place, and a memorial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home.
