Penelope “Penny” Chopp, age 82, of Fife Lake, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026. She was born on December 4, 1943, the daughter of Frank Youles and Nelle Crawford, in Detroit. On March 25, 1966, she married the love of her life, Thomas Chopp. Together, they shared 54 years filled with love and cherished memories until he preceded her in death in 2020. Penny loved going out and going to the casino.
She is survived by her son: Eric (Lisa) Chopp; daughter: Robyn (David) Chopp-Phillips; grandchildren: Makayla (Jacob) Karas and Ein Michael; and great-grandchildren: Presley, Avery, and Cora.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband: Thomas; grandson: Seth; and parents.
Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
