Patrick Reiner

Patrick H. Reiner, age 78, of Gladwin, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026. He was born on December 5, 1947, the son of Henry and Aldis Ann (Thorlakson) Reiner in Detroit. In 1980, Patrick married the love of his life, Annie Brighton. Together they shared many years of love and cherished memories until she preceded him in death. Patrick was a decorated Vietnam Veteran. He was proud of his service to his country. Following his service, he worked in custom carpentry until his retirement.

Patrick was a true outdoorman. He moved to Gladwin 12 years ago to enjoy the outdoors during his retirement. He appreciated the beauty in nature and loved trout fishing and bow hunting. Patrick had a passion for music, he was a drummer in a band with his brother and friends. He loved watching Old Western shows on the television.

He is survived by his siblings: Henry (Laura) Reiner, Wanda Reiner, Paul (Sharron) Reiner, and Laurie Reiner; along with many nieces and nephews and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife: Annie; parents: Henry and Aldis; and siblings: Debbie Fitzgerald and Aldis “Rusty” Reiner.

Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and services are being planned for a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
