Michael “Mike” Wayne Mercer, 54, of Gladwin, MI, passed away on June 19, 2023. He was born in Gladwin on August 8, 1968 the son of Roger and Connie (Cox) Mercer. In 2018 he was united in marriage to Melinda Mercer in Wyoming. He loved hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with his family, children, and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife; parents; step children: Tom (Amber) VanPelt, Brad (Tina)VanPelt, Michael (Christina) Dolney; grandchildren: Dylan, Destiny, Dominic, Cody, Isabella, Ethan, Jenna, Tanner, and Henry; siblings: Troy (Misty) Mercer and Robyn (David) Thume; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his son: Phillip Mercer.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 2, 2023, from 1-4:00 P.M. at the Buckeye Township Hall. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
