Meagan Elkins

Meagan A. Elkins, age 40, of Gladwin passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026 following a long battle with Leukemia. She was born on April 16, 1986, the daughter of Charles Estes and Tammy Sagash, in Clare. Meagan worked as CNA for several years. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She cherished the moments she shared with her children going on walks, riding bikes, tubing, and camping.

She is survived by her children: Connor, Keegan, Makaylee, Izaan, Kameron, and Jayden; mother: Tammy (Wayne) Gere; father: Charles Estes; sisters: Jessica (Wesley Sr.) Hude and Renee (Christopher) Bingham; nieces and nephews: Wesley Jr., Wayland, Carter, Leah, Dominic, Jaidyn, and Noelle; husband: Doug Elkins; along with several aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Mary and Don Cobb and Ruthann and Charles Estes.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. Cremation will take place following visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Meagan.
