Mavis Burbank

Mavis Jean Burbank, age 78, of Beaverton, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 19, 2026. She was born on March 24, 1948, the daughter of Clifford and Georgia Garrow, in Cadillac, MI. On September 2, 1965, she married the love of her life, Archie Burbank. Together they shared several years filled with love and cherished memories until he preceded her in death in 2002. Mavis had several jobs throughout the years and worked as a Walmart Associate for many years until she retired in 2010. She loved crafting, painting, and quilting, always making gifts for her family. She loved cooking and baking. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, cherishing the moments she spent with them.

She is survived by her children: Terry (Malinda) Burbank and Kimberley (Daniel) Ruddy; grandchildren: Athena, Kearsten (Brandon) Ballard, Maranda (Matthew) Schultz, Archie (Natalie) Burbank, Brian “Scottie” (Stephanie) Holyfield, Taylor Holyfield, and Austin Holyfield and Alexandra (Tyler) Carroll; 11 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband, and 3 siblings.
