Matthew Kuksa

Matthew Robert Kuksa, Age 47, of Gladwin, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 7, 2026. He was born on May 4, 1979, the son of John and Janet (Dombrowski) Kuksa, in Cleveland, OH. Matthew played Football at Northern Michigan University for two years. He went on to work as a handyman, completing many different jobs, willing to help anyone wherever it was needed. Matthew enjoyed the outdoors, often spending his free time fishing and hunting. He really loved helping people anyway he could and doing work for them.

He is survived by his parents: John and Janet Kuksa; sisters: Karen (Mike Dekun) Kuksa and Jaclyn (Paul) Kreigsman; and nephew: Noah Dekun.

Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
