Marsha Smith

Marsha E. Smith, age 80, of Gladwin, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026. She was born on September 2, 1945. On October 4, 1968, she married the love of her life, Gaylond Smith. Together, they shared 56 years filled with love and cherished memories until he preceded her in death in 2025. Marsha and Gaylond owned and operated the Beaverton Party Store for 26 years. She later moved on to work as a Realtor, until her retirement. In her free time, Marsha loved to golf and complete crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her daughter: Debb Smith; sons: Robb (Lynn) Smith and Ronnie (Kelly) Smith; grandchildren: Sianne, Robert, Casey, Justin, James, and Travis; along with 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Donald and Hellen (Becker) Brieden; son: John Smith; and brother: Bill.

Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place and services are being planned for a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
