Margaret Woody

Margaret P. Woody, age 97, of Gladwin, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026. She was born on October 2, 1928, the daughter of James and Bertha (Wanamaker) Hooper, in Waverly, TN. On December 18, 1965, she married the love of her life, Ralph Woody. Together they shared 48 years filled with love and cherished memories until he preceded her in death in 2013. Margaret was outgoing, she loved crocheting and was a great cook. Most of all, she loved her family, cherishing the time she spent with them.

She is survived by her children: Danny Woody, Wayne Woody, Terry Woody, Sharon De-Bruyne, and Bob Rice; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and great-great-granddaughter: Rose.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, her parents, and children: David Rice, James Ralph Woody, and Sheila Woody.

Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. She will be laid to rest at McClure Cemetery.
