Lyle Saddler

Lyle Maurice Saddler, 74, of Gladwin, passed away Tuesday August 25, 2026. He was born October 5, 1951 to parents Richard and Lillian (Foster) Saddler in Pontiac.

Family and friends describe Lyle as someone with a big heart for helping others, honest, a fighter, fun loving, and a traveler full of life.

After serving the Army for 3 years as a Medical Corpsman, he then signed up and served the Army National guard for 6 years. After his time in the military he then worked in the medical field as a CNA. Then retired in 2007 and moved to Florida. In 2022 Lyle moved back to Michigan where he spent most of his days fishing, traveling and spending time with loved ones.

He is survived by: his daughter, Regina Parsons, his grandson Daniel (Sarah) Daldine. Two brothers Guy Saddler and Chris (Sally) Saddler. Three sisters Shara Hortick, Pamela (David) Hunt and Kim (Yvan) Serrano along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Larry Saddler, and sister Dianna Pollard.
