Linda S. Williams, age 75, of Gladwin, formerly of Alma, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025. She was born on February 10, 1950, in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, to Stephen and Jean (Kennedy) Williams.
Linda worked for over 35 years as an Executive Administrative Assistant with Yeo & Yeo CPAs in Alma. She was very active in the Alma community, dedicating her time to many organizations including: Alma Women’s Club, Optimist Club of Gratiot County, United Way of Gratiot County & Isabella County, Mid-Michigan Big Brothers and Sisters of Gratiot & Montcalm Counties, and Patient Equipment Locker of Alma. Linda was an avid reader and enjoyed baking for others.
She is survived by her sister, Karen (Michael) Stearns; nephew, Nathan (Sarah) Stearns & great-niece Sophia Stearns; and niece, Stephanie Stearns.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Jean Williams.
Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Alma. No services are planned at this time.
Family would like to thank Gladwin Pines Nursing & Rehabilitation Center staff for taking such good care of her over the past 5 years.
