Linda Morgan, age 79, of Gladwin, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026. She was born on March 15, 1947, the daughter of James and Leoma (Ward) Turner, in Pacolet, SC. On July 17, 1965, she married the love of her life, Lynn Morgan. Together, they shared 61 years filled with love and cherished memories.
Linda loved cooking and gardening. In earlier years, she enjoyed riding her bike, playing tennis, playing piano, and even took 6 years of dance. Linda and Lynn looked forward to their Mackinaw Island trips, which they enjoyed immensely. She loved celebrating the holidays, especially Christmas. Linda was a practical joker, always able to make everyone laugh with her little pranks. She stayed true to her southern roots and always had some witty limericks. Most of all, Linda loved spending time with her family, cherishing the moments she got to spend with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her beloved husband: Lynn; children: Jodi (Courtney) Lee, Eric (Lanette) Morgan, and Jakie (Scott Jiggens) Conachan; grandchildren: Mark (Jess) Melchi, Alex (Kaitlyn) Melchi, Jade (Chad) Pocock, Isaac (Porché) Morgan, Aaron (Danielle) Morgan, Kailah Morgan, Ali Sanford, and Molly Sanford; great-grandchildren: Myah, Noelle, Max, Kaia, Oakley, Wesley, and Lucy; sisters: Selena Ford, Pam (Mike) Corlew, and Candy Turner; along with several in-laws, nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents: James and Leoma; step-father: Hallie Ford; brother: Pat Turner; and angel baby: Adam.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Assembly of God Church in Gladwin. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Visitation will also be held on Friday, August 7, 2026 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, in Gladwin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Dawn Shelter.
