Linda Ellis

Linda Ellis, 73, of Gladwin, MI, passed away on July 28, 2023 after a long illness. She was born on June 22, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of Clifford and Josephine (Diffin) Boman. She worked as a child and eldercare provider and as a bartender. She loved road trips, the beach, Secord Lake, Jimmy Buffet, morel hunting, and friends and family. She was an accordion and clarinet player and a barrel racer.  Linda had a green thumb and grew enormous morning glories. Some of her hobbies included collecting gemstones and vintage jewelry. She also made the world's best scalloped potatoes.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Chris Ellis and Mike Ellis, and her grandchildren Autumn, Damon, and Brianna.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Josephine (Diffin) Boman and Clifford Boman.

Because of her complex medical history, Linda's body was received by the Anatomical Donations Program at the University of Michigan Medical School.  A memorial service will take place in the future.  Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
