Leverna Chasteen

Leverna E. Chasteen, 87, of Beaverton, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024. She was born on July 29, 1937, in Corning, New York. Leverna was united in marriage to James Chasteen, with whom she built a beautiful bond and shared a wonderful life. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, and baking, especially for friends and family. She was active in volunteering for her community and helping those in need. Leverna deeply loved her family and adored her children and grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, James Chasteen; children, Tina (Craig) Danelz, Brian (Shelley) Chasteen, and Charles (Christina) Chasteen; grandchildren, William Chasteen, Christa (Dustin) Mansour, Sara Chasteen, Samantha (Cody) Koper, and Gayl (Darren) Picon; and great-grandchildren, Jocelyn, Breanna, Bailey, Carson, Emma, Elizabeth, and Peyton. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
