Lesley Platz, age 78, of Gladwin, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 1, 2025. She was born on October 14, 1946, in Akron, Ohio, to Charles and Betty Riggs. On June 15, 1968, Lesley married the love of her life, Neil Platz, in Pennsylvania. Together they shared many years of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Lesley was a very social person who enjoyed golfing, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. She especially loved living on the lake. Not fond of cold weather, she happily spent her winters in Florida. Above all, she adored her grandchildren and treasured every moment with them.
She is survived by her husband, Neil Platz; daughters, Heidi (Matthew) Hoppe and Heather Ratich; grandchildren, Benjamin, Christopher, Kaitlyn, and Hannah; brother, Terry (Louise) Riggs; nieces, Tracy Hansel and Amy Martonis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Betty Riggs.
