Larry S. Clark, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 13, 2025. Born on July 15, 1946, in Jackson, Michigan, Larry lived a life devoted to service, hard work, and love for his family. Larry married the love of his life, Susan Nelson, and together they shared 50 years filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. Larry was stationed in Guam and Midway, and served 2 tours in Vietnam. Following his service, he excelled in his career as an electrician; mostly in Littleton, Colorado, but also in Phoenix, Arizona, and Jackson and Beaverton, Michigan.
Larry was a true outdoorsman, often spending his time fishing, boating, ice fishing, and going on walks with their dog. He was always staying busy, working on projects around the house. Larry was willing to help when anyone needed it, putting the skills he had to use.
He is survived by his beloved wife: Susan; son: Logan (Lauren) Clark; daughter: Jennifer (Kameron) Moore; grandchildren: Kayla (Seth), Landon, Kara, and Kamden; great-grandson: Jasper; siblings: Peggy (Al) Olsen and Bob (Judy) Clark; his dog: Rosie; along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Julie Durfee.
Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Beaverton. Visitation will take place from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Memorial contributions can be made to Beaverton United Methodist Church in honor of Larry.
