Kathryn Gallagher

Kathryn J. Gallagher, age 88, of Gladwin, passed away on May 18, 2026. She was born on March 26, 1938, the daughter of Bill and Florence Gallagher, in Detroit. She graduated from Mercy High School in Detroit and went on to be a Dispatcher for the Livonia Police Department for many years. Kay was a faithful fan of the Detroit Tigers and loved taking cruises with her friends. She also spent many happy years with her fur babies: Snoopy, KC, and Lucy.

Kay leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love in her sister: Marilou Krueger; nieces and nephews: Kent and Teri Brockstra, Steve Krueger, Mike Krueger, Dave and Kristie Saterstad, and Rick Saterstad; and many great-nieces and nephews.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents: Bill and Florence Gallagher; brother: Mike and Ginger Gallagher; brother-in-law: Gary Krueger; special niece: Kelly Rau; and niece: Lenna Krueger.

Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place and her family will gather privately to celebrate her beautiful life and the love she shared with all who knew her.
