Joy Crowl

Joy Alice Crowl, age 82, of Beaverton, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026. She was born on April 18, 1944, in Midland. In September of 1976, she married the love of her life, Dennis Crowl. Together they shared almost 50 years filled with love and cherished memories. Joy worked as a Bartender for many years. She then went on to work as a Custodian for Dow for several years. Joy went back to finish her schooling and in 1986, she graduated from Beaverton High School.

She loved to play euchre and she could talk to anybody, making friends with everyone she came across. Joy enjoyed going to garage sales, she always loved a good deal. Joy and Dennis attended the Abundant Life Apostolic Church in Sanford for several years.

She is survived by her husband: Dennis; children: Tarry Haner, Trena (Brian) Yager, Paul “Duke” (Shannon) Pfau, Amanda (Jerico) Crowl, Kelli Jo (Keith) Burlingame, and Nickola (Drago) Dumbovic; 18 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Ivan Billingsly and Dorothy Yates; sons: Floyd Wetherell and Pete Pfau; and 3 siblings.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 12:00 noon at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, in Beaverton. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Abundant Life Apolistic Church in Sanford. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home.
