Joshua Wessel

Joshua Donald Wessel, age 53, of Auburn, formerly of Beaverton, passed away unexpectedly on April 7, 2026. He was born on March 7, 1973, the son of Robert and Nancy (Higgins) Wessel. Josh was a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Following his service, Josh worked as a carpenter. On August 14, 2021, he married Karen Schuch. Together, they shared 4 years filled with love. Josh enjoyed working on his trucks and his Jeep. He was fond of motorcycles and enjoyed laying in the pool. Most of all, Josh loved sitting back in his chair and relaxing with his dog.

He is survived by his wife: Karen; children: Cody (Kayla) Wessel; step-children: Zachary Pomeroy and Dakota Pomeroy; grandchildren: Luke Wessel, Logynn Wessel, and Raymond Pomeroy; mother: Nancy (Donnie) Petty; siblings: Kimberly (Rusty) Murphy, Robert (Paula) Wessel, and Tony (Joanne) Wessel; nieces and nephews: Robert Wessel, Jake Wessel, Emily Wessel, Ben Wessel, Krystal Murphy, and Justin Murphy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert.

Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and he will be laid to rest at Beaverton City Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
