John R. Huth, 95, of Gladwin, passed away at his home on Monday, May 19, 2025. He was born on January 5, 1930, in Michigan to Richard and Mary Huth. John was a proud U.S. veteran who honorably served his country during the Korean War. Following his service, he worked for many years as a skilled tradesman at Ford Motor Company. He married the love of his life, Beverly, and together they shared 75 wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories until her passing on March 17, 2025.
John was a member of the Masonic Lodge and became a Master Mason, and even went beyond that by becoming a Shriner. He also devoted his time to the Easter Stars along with his daughter Laura.
John had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time in nature. He also loved classic cars and was especially proud of his 1932 Model A Ford, which he often showcased in local parades and car shows. John also enjoyed bowling with friends and being active in his community.
He is survived by his son, John Jr. (Sherryl) Huth; daughters, Laura (Russell) King and Sheree Bargowski; grandchildren, Leslie, Andrea, Dale, Jaime, Ben, Russell II, Kristi, Richard, Kelli, and Nick; as well as many great-grandchildren and extended family.
John was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Beverly Huth; parents, Richard and Mary Huth, granddaughter, Stacy King; and son-in-law, Richard Bargowski.
Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. Visitation will be held before the service on Saturday from 10:00-12:00 P.M. He will be laid to rest at Ridge Cemetery, in Gladwin. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home.
