Jesse R. Dungerow Jr.

Jesse R. Dungerow Jr. “JJ”, tragically passed away on September 6, 2025. He was born on April 6, 2024, the son of Chastity Levi and Jesse Dungerow Sr. JJ loved being outdoors and wanted to play outside all the time. He was fascinated by the trees and stars. He loved playing on his red slide, and with his balls and cars. JJ adored Spidey and his friends and baby shark, he was always asking to watch them. He loved firetrucks, which was the first toy he ever learned to play with, and had so much fun cruising on his tricycle. He loved playing in the water or “wawa” and picking rocks, snails, and any other treasure they could find. JJ always wanted jello after dinner, it was his favorite nighttime snack. Most of all, JJ loved his Mama and Dada, he would curl up in bed with them with his arms above his head just like his Dad. He had a beautiful soul and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his parents: Jesse R. Dungerow Sr. and Chastity Levi Dungerow; grandparents: Marilyn Levi, Chad Levi, Lisa Dungerow, and Jesse Strandberg; great-grandparents: Susan Levi, Roger Levi, Richard Mielke, and Susan Rutter; aunts: Casey Levi Harris, Josie Dungerow, Jenna Dungerow, and Robin Zimmerman; uncles: Jett Dungerow, Ethan Levi, William Harris, Theron Zimmerman, and Michael Bowman; and his cousins: Baby Twyla V. Ann Hude, Autumn Rose Harris, Rosalynn Mielke, Destiny Zimmerman, and Theron “Buddy” Zimmerman.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother: Viola Bailey; great-great uncle: Ted Batts; and great-great aunt: Nancy Levi.

Funeral Services will take place on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
