Helen Mcmillan

Helen McMillan, 80, of Gladwin, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023. She was born on September 25, 1942 the daughter of Charlie and Christine (Tidwell) Myatt in Tennessee. On October 21, 1960 she was united in marriage to James “Jim” McMillan. They raised their family in Rochester Hills where she worked as a quality inspector until her retirement. After Helen and Jim retired they moved to Sugar Spring in Gladwin. They spent winters in Texas where they continued making new memories. She loved to play dime bingo and go shopping, especially for shoes and purses.

She will be dearly missed by her husband: Jim McMillan; daughters: Bobbie (Keith) Whitehurst, and Becky (Chuck) Butkovich; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and brother: Jerry (Gloria) Myatt.

She is preceded in death by her parents and son: Steve “Stevie” McMillan.

Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, 4:30 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. Visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M. until the time of service. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
