Heide B. Mcgowan

Heide B. McGowan, 71, of Hope, Michigan, passed away at her home on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. She was born on March 24, 1946, the daughter of William & Anna Marie (Becker) Lawrence in Gross Umstadt, Germany. She was united in marriage to her husband Bruce McGowan in 1971 in Germany. Heide was a pleasure to be around and had a profound sense of humor.  She was a homemaker, and has lived in Gladwin County for the past 11 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years: Bruce McGowan of Hope. Heide was an affectionate mother of son: Andrew McGowan of Beaver creek, Ohio; daughter: Petra (Tom) Drouin of Colorado; son: Rainer Jahrling-Matthaus of Germany; grandchildren: Isabella, Rochelle& Tamara; sister: Cornelia Mink of Germany; niece: Sandra Rahn; nephew: Markus Iwan .
