Geraldine Carper

Geraldine Carper, age 88, of Gladwin, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. She was born on February 19, 1937, the daughter of Delmar and Mary (Near) Yeager, in Gladwin. Geraldine married the love of her life, James Carper. Together, they shared over 60 years of love and cherished memories up until his passing. She had an infectious laugh that lit up the room. Geraldine was fond of coloring and trying new recipes in the kitchen. She also loved watching wildlife in the yard and going for rides with her son.

She is survived by her son: Lonzo (Lisa) Carper; grandchildren: Jamie Worthington and Lacy Carper; great-grandchildren: Brandan and Keeley; and great-great-grandchild: Zariah.

She was preceded in death by her husband: James; son: James; parents: Delmar and Mary; siblings: Keith and Lota; and grandson-in-law: MSG David Worthington.
