Gail Molesworth

Gail E. Molesworth, 84, of Gladwin, MI passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Detroit, MI on May 30, 1937, the daughter of Francis and Edna Dicken. Gail was united in marriage to the love of her life William “Chum” Molesworth September 24, 1955 in Gladwin, MI, he preceded her in death in 2012. She spent her working years as the head cook at Gladwin Community Schools for over 20 years. When Gail was not working she was actively involved in the Gladwiniters, The Free Methodist Church and was a valued volunteer at the New Dawn Shelter. In her free time, Gail loved the outdoors and especially camping. Gail also loved to travel. Chum and Gail each rode their motorcycles together to Alaska twice.

Left to cherish her memory are her son: Melvin (Lori) Molesworth of Gladwin; son-in-law: Randy (Cindy) Truax of Goodrich; grandchildren: Mindy, Zach (Jamie), Tyler (Melissa), Melissa (Kevin), Lance (Elissa), Matt (Nicole), Christopher and Stephanie; great-grandchildren: Bethann, Isaiah, Grace, Mark, Taylor, Aiden, Alice, Harper, Carson, Piper, Wyatt, Aleeyah and Lincoln; sisters: Fran Walcutt, Lana Willford, Jill (Dave) Harmon and Jean (Denny) Cameron; brother: Tim (Linda) Dicken; along with several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Francis and Edna; husband: William; daughter: Beth Truax; son: Andy; and sister: Elsie.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Molesworth will be conducted by Pastor Phil Hortop on Thursday, March 24, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, from 2-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. She will be laid to rest at Midland Memorial Cemetery, Midland.
