Ernest Sullivan

Ernest (Ernie) Sullivan passed away January 27, 2022. A long time figure in the Detroit advertising community, Ernie was managing partner of Metro-Detroit area Smith-Winchester for many years.

An Air Force Veteran, he served as a radar specialist in Labrador, before moving to Detroit in the late 1950s, where he attended Lawrence Institute of Technology in Southfield.

He is survived by:  wife, Judith; children David (Heather), Elizabeth, Christopher (Kimberly), and Lynne (Tom); grandchildren Katherine, Sean, Jack, Megan, Erin, Kelly and Moira.

Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. He will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, MI.
