Eric Paul Hayes, age 54, of Rosebush, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025. He was born on September 25, 1970, the son of David and Carolyn (Liggett) Hayes, in Wayne County. Eric graduated from Tecumseh High School and went on to work as Machine Operator at Morbark for many years.
Eric had a deep love for the outdoors and spent much of his time hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking. He was a dedicated sports fan, especially when it came to hockey and football, always cheering on his favorite Michigan teams. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his friends and family.
He is survived by his significant other: Carrie Sisty and her family; brother: Mike (Chrystal) Hayes, of Gladwin; sister-in-law: Leisa (Wally) Hayes of Tipton; along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jeff Hayes.
Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 4:00 P.M. at the Clare VFW Post 5738. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
