Edwin Simsack, 84, of Beaverton, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at the Gladwin Nursing and Rehab Community. He was born on July 16, 1936, the son of Joseph and Stella (Kososki) Szymczak. On July 21 1956,  he was united in marriage to his true love Ann Trumble in Gladwin. She preceded him in death in 2011. Edwin was a retired heavy equipment operator from Pat's Gradall Services in Midland. He was a devout member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Edenville. Edwin enjoyed many things in life, and thoroughly loved horses.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter: Shelly (Samuel) Ortiz; sons: Douglas (Sheila) Simsack, Keith (Sally) Simsack, and Scott (Amy) Simsack; along with 8 grandchildren: Amy, Brandon, Ashley, Aaron, Jacob, Nathan, Gracie, and Andrew; 4 great grandchildren: Noah, Haylee, Marianah, Sade, and 1 more on the way. He is also survived by a sister: Sophie August and brother: John Simsack.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; and a daughter: Cindy.

Funeral Services honoring Mr. Simsack will be conducted by Pastor Christian Hodet on Monday, January 4, 2021, 11:00 A.M. at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Edenville. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2021, from 2-7:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, and on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Strong Tower Radio in Ed's honor.
