Edward Logsdon Sr.

Edward J. Logsdon Sr, age 82, of Gladwin, passed away on January 2, 2026. He was born on July 22, 1943, the son of John and Dorothy Mae (Shelton) Logsdon in Lasalle County, IL.

Ed was a loving husband, father, grandpa and “poppa”. He was a good and caring man. He enjoyed NASCAR, golf, and country music. In his younger days, he was a scout master to several young men and instilled in them a love of the outdoors and camping.

He is survived by his beloved wife Diane; children Ed Jr., Patrick (Michelle), Greg (Nancy), Annette, Jaci, Jennifer Baldy, Chad (Glenna); step-sons Jason (Jen) and Kirk Zajac; numerous grandchildren and step-grandchildren; along with several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his sons Wes, Jeff and Mike; grandson Jacob; parents John and Dorothy Mae; sister Dorothy Greene; brother John Martin and 4 great grandchildren.

Ed will be deeply missed. Rest easy my darling, your struggle is over. John 14:2-3.

Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 3:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
