Derrick Loar, 41, passed away on August 29, 2022. He was born on February 12, 1981, the son of Basil and Dorothy (Thompson) Loar in Midland. Derrick enjoyed farming, hunting, and collecting Allis Chalmers tractors. He was employed for twenty two years at Stage Right in Clare.
He is survived by his parents: Basil and Dorothy Loar of Beaverton; Special Friend: Darci Cox; brothers: Randy Thompson (Michelle) of Gladwin, Jon Loar of Texas, and Ryan (Tina) Kigar of Traverse City; sisters: Pam (Kevin) Clark of Clare and Ruth (Dean) Methner of Wellston; a niece and several nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022, from 3-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton. He will be laid to rest at Arthur Twp. Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton. www.hall-kokotovichfuneralhome.com
