David Lee Kory, age 2 weeks, of Clare, MI, passed away on July 10, 2026, at home peacefully in his sleep.
David was born on June 28, 2026, in Beaverton, MI at the family home where his father was raised.
In his very short time on earth, Baby (King) David captured the hearts of his whole family the moment he was born and was so very loved by his parents and siblings. He had a strong disposition and was perfect in every way.
Left to cherish his memory, David leaves behind his parents Vera and Hunter Kory. His 4 siblings, Luke, Leia, Lyla, and Adaline. His grandparents Sarah and Brandon Nunn of Clarksville, TN., James and Donna Kory of Beaverton, MI, and Joshua Lester of Wartburg, TN. Great-Grandparents Janet Huntley (Kory) of Beaverton, James and Kathleen Burgess of Beaverton. Arlene and Michael Lester of Wartburg, TN. His uncles Bowe Kory & (Brittney Carpenter), Cole Kory & (Hannah Merillet), Liam Donahue, Noah Lester, Dakota Miller, and Daniel Crawford. His Aunts, Abigail Nunn and Kaitlyn McGuire. As well as many great aunt, uncles, and cousins.
David is preceded in death by his grandfather, David Crawford, Vera’s father of whom he was named after. His great-grandparents David and Kathy Crawford, great-great-grandparents, James and Bonnie Burgess, Richard and Jean Allbee, Ephriam and Geraldine Prisza.
Funeral services will be held at the Beaverton Nazarene Church on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. The family will receive family and friends prior to the service starting at 1:00 P.M. David’s ashes will be laid to rest under a strong King Maple in the back yard of his home, in Clare, MI. Where he will always be able to watch the sunrise and sunsets with his family.
