David Griswold

David Griswold, age 72, of Gladwin, passed away on Wednesday, April 16 2025. He was born on July 30, 1952, the son of Eveleth and Helen (Kemp) Griswold. Throughout his life, David worked as a Handyman for many years until his retirement. David had a passion for country music. He loved playing his guitar and singing and was even a member of a country music band.

He is survived by his brother: Harold (Kristine) Griswold; sister: Barbara (Christopher) McPhearson; daughter: Tammy (Jay) Oliverei; step-daughter: Amber (Ryan) Thompson; step-son: Matthew (Megan) Thomas; grandson: Troy Oliverei; step-grandchildren: Elena and Tyler Thomas; along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his love: Brenda Thomas; parents: Eveleth and Helen; and siblings: Lynn Cox, Edwin Griswold, and Julie Roberts.
