Daniel Mercer

Daniel A.. Mercer, age 66, of Gladwin, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. He was born on April 9, 1958, to John Henry Mercer and Helen Gray in Gladwin, MI. Daniel was a dedicated employee of Brown Machine, where he worked as a Machinist for 45 years.

His love for the outdoors, especially hunting, brought him great joy, making it one of his favorite pastimes.

He is survived by his daughter: Jen (Jon) Byrne; mother: Helen Mason; grandchildren: Hunter Mercer, Cassidy Mercer, Kember (Jacob) Rolls, and Kameron Peter; great-grandchildren: Leo, Levi, and Kade; brothers: Tedd Mercer, Tom Mercer, Eric Mercer, David Mercer, and James Mason; and daughter-in-law: Mindy Mercer.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father: John Henry Mercer; son: Brent Mercer; and stepfather: James Mason.
