Daniel Hardwick

March 27, 1991 — June 9, 2025

Daniel Clay Hardwick of Gladwin went home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on June 9th, 2025. He was 34 years old.

Dan was born on March 27th 1991 in Flint Michigan. He grew up in Marion Michigan and was well known for his mad mechanic skills. He was always working on a car or pretty much anything with a motor in it. He especially loved Chevys and Artic Cats, but he did not like Fords and had some pretty funny Ford jokes, as he was also known for his humor. He loved to make people laugh. Dan was always tried to encourage anyone who was going through a rough patch in life. Dan had a real zest for life and lived his with the throttle wide open. He became a Master Certified Auto Tech, working at many different garages over the years from the time he was 17 years old, working at Performance Plus Quick Lube in Cadillac Michigan and later at All Vehicle in Marion. Dan loved racing vintage cars and snowmobiles, after he rebuilt the motors. He said that the best thing he ever did was to become a dad to his two little girls, he loved them with all of his heart. He loved to talk about his faith in God and Jesus, and share the experiences that brought him to that unshakable faith that he had. He would say, "it's about relationship not religion." Dan knew the Bible very well, and had memorized many of the scriptures. He also loved music, especially songs with a positive message, like Jelly Roll and Nicky Gratious.

Dan is survived by his two daughters Kendra Kaye Hardwick and Bailey Grace Hardwick, his wife and mother of his children Sarah Blake Hardwick. He is also survived by his mother Lisa Kaye Hawkins of Gladwin, his father Christopher Clay Hardwick and his two sisters Jamie (Steven) Price of Gladwin and Jessica (Bill Basner) Kennedy of Gladwin. His two brothers Christopher Ryan (Angelique) Hardwick of Ohio and Jeffrey (Shelley) Adams and his grandparents James (Chris) Hawkins of Millington.
