Constance E. West, age 80, of Gladwin, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026. She was born on March 6, 1946, the daughter of Germano and Hazel (Johnson) Viecelli, in Detroit. Constance worked as a Beautician for many years until her retirement after 50 years. On August 1, 2016, she married Michael West. Together they shared 10 years filled with love and cherished memories.
Constance enjoyed cooking, gardening, and going out for dinner. She was an incredible artist and had a love for nature, especially birds. Constance loved antiques. She liked to travel and see new places. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, cherishing the moments she spent with them. She was very sweet and always able to make people laugh. Constance had a kind heart and generous soul, she will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband: Michael; children: Douglas (Kara) Hartman and Kristin (Joe) Palm; grandchildren: Stephanie, Nicole, Antonio, Christopher, Adam, and Brandon; great-grandchildren: William and Vincenzo; sister: Donna Robb; step-children: Michael (Tina) West and Tracie (Rodrigo) Martinez; and step-grandchildren: Lexa, Christian, Robert, Maddie, Jadon, Colby, Lexi, Shane, and Harley.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Germano and Hazel; sister: Diana Bawman; and step-daughter: Shannon Johnson.
Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place and services are being planned for a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
