Constance West

Constance E. West, age 80, of Gladwin, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026. She was born on March 6, 1946, the daughter of Germano and Hazel (Johnson) Vicelli, in Detroit. Constance worked as a Beautician for many years until her retirement. On August 1, 2016, she married Michael West. Together they shared 10 years filled with love and cherished memories.

Constance enjoyed cooking, gardening, and going out for dinner. She liked to travel and see new places. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, cherishing the moments she spent with them. Constance had a kind heart and generous soul, she will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband: Michael; children: Douglas (Kara) Hartman and Kristen (Joe) Palm; grandchildren: Stephanie, Nicole, Tony, Christopher, Adam, and Brandon; great-grandchildren: William and Vincenzo; sister: Donna Robb; step-children: Michael (Tina) West and Tracie (Rodrigo) Martinez; and step-grandchildren: Lexa, Christian, Robert, Maddie, Jadon, Colby, Lexi, and Shane.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Germano and Hazel; sister: Diane Bauman; and step-daughter: Shannon Johnson.
