Catherine Byrne, age 54, of Gladwin, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. She was born on November 11, 1971, the daughter of William and Michele (Taylor) Byrne, in Detroit, MI. Catherine was an artist. She was funny and sarcastic and enjoyed listening to music, especially Tom Petty.
She is survived by her children: Jakob (Daniela) Koperski and Holly “Sunny” Koperski; mother: Michele Byrne; and siblings: William (Shannon) Byrne and David Byrne.
She was preceded in death by her father and son, Mathew.
Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
