Brenda Still

Brenda Kay Still, age 68, of Gladwin, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2026. She was born on October 9, 1958, the daughter of James and Alma Jean (Perry) Barber, in West Branch, MI. She worked as a heavy equipment operator for several years until her retirement. Brenda loved her chickens and her ducks, going horseback riding, and camping. She also enjoyed bear hunting and snowmobiling. She loved to sew, always making her daughters clothing. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cherishing the moments spent with them.

She is survived by her daughters: Keinda (Jeff) Walker and Amanda Still; grandchildren: Logan (Daytona) Still and Cheyenne (James) Searfoss; great-grandchildren: Adison, Joseph, Lucille, Bryton, Ryder, Maverick, and Wyatt; brother: Louis Ware; and sister: Carol Still.

She was preceded in death by her parents: James and Alma Jean; sister: Mary; and dear friend: Leonard Still.

Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at Meadow Lanes Banquet Hall from 1:00-4:00 P.M. Please wear purple in remembrance of Brenda. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in accordance to the family's wishes.
